Mohamed Nagy is considered one of the most important pioneers in Egyptian plastic art, and it can be classified as belonging to the early Egyptian artists and the first generation who placed the first building blocks in the concept of Egyptian plastic art, as he was born in the Muharram Bey neighborhood in Alexandria in 1888, and began his artistic life early at the end of his high school. He began studying the art of painting at the Italian artist Beatoli's studio in Alexandria in 1906, and his studies of art and law coincided in parallel, as he satisfied his desire to study art and traveled to Italy and studied painting at the Academy of Arts in Florence, after studying law at the University of Lyon in France, immediately after Returning from Italy, he worked with the French painter Andrei Lot.

The museum's location prevents it from being well received:

It seems that the current site of the museum, for its visitors, is somewhat a crisis. Although it was good and the artist chose it himself six years before his departure, the artist’s choice of a remote location to enjoy peace and tranquility in his studio, which was later turned into a museum, has become an obstacle for the public who finds it difficult to frequent a place on the outskirts of the city, and then Only the educated class, plastic art lovers and students of fine arts come to the museum, while the ordinary public finds it difficult. This is what some specialists see that it requires great effort and elaborate and accurate planning, which provides the ability to overcome these difficulties, so that the value of the museum and the value of its owner remain fresh and marked and passed on to new generations, to tell the biography of one of the Egyptian saints.

Loyalty to heritage and interaction with modernism art schools:

Mohamed Nagy enriched the Egyptian and Arab art movement in general, with creations that formed a pivotal point in this field. As he did not fail to emulate everything new in art and formation, worldwide, and thus did not make barriers between it and modernity in its various schools of art.
