The achievements of the ancient Egyptian civilization are evident in their innovation in hieroglyphic and demotic writing, in mathematics and architecture, and in the creation of modern methods of agriculture and irrigation, the Nile River, and money was used in building pyramids and temples, as trade, government, religion, economics, and astronomy were developed.


Art The ancient Egyptians were famous for the art of graves and murals, as they believed that life continues after death, and they mastered in tombs so that the dead enjoy the luxury after death according to their belief, and Egyptian art was also represented in statues carved from the rock with its coating with metals, drawings on the walls of houses, and various engineering designs.


One of the most important monuments of ancient Egypt is the pyramids, where the pyramids were built to bury the pharaohs in them, and the Egyptians built about 138 pyramids of varying size, the largest of which is the pyramid of Khufu in Giza.

The most important antiquities of ancient Egyptian civilization are temples and temples were built to be homes for the Egyptian gods, and there were two types of them: the Temple of Coltus for certain deities to dwell in, and the mortuary temple for the worship of the dead pharaohs, and the Rosetta Stone was discovered in 1799 AD.


Egyptian architecture included the pyramids of Giza, the Temple of Karnak in Thebes, and the personal homes of the ancient Egyptians, and they did not even hold out, as they used perishable and not strong materials such as clay and wood to reduce the temperature. The peasants lived in simple houses.


The first surviving ancient Egyptian temples, such as those at Giza, consisted of individually enclosed halls with roof panels supported by columns. And engineering developed in the era of the modern state, and the architects added the edifice, open squares, and the lobby and adopted these designs until entering and the rulers of the later ones did not abandon them in favor of the less visible rock tombs.


The mastaba-design of tombs was famous in the early periods of ancient Egypt, and it was a rectangular building with a flat surface built of adobe or stone, covering under it the burial chamber, which is located under the ground.

The step pyramid of Djoser, for example, is made of six stone mastabas on top of each other.

The pyramids are the common designs for the tombs of the two pharaohs in the Old and Middle Kingdoms.


  As for the arts, it is considered one of the most important achievements of the Egyptian civilization for the ancient, middle, and modern countries. The following is a summary of artworks in terms of the Egyptian style, its components, features and the most important achievements of the executed works as Egyptian art has changed a lot from one era to another or from the ancient state to the middle to the modern.
