The
achievements of the ancient Egyptian civilization are evident in their
innovation in hieroglyphic and demotic writing, in mathematics and
architecture, and in the creation of modern methods of agriculture and
irrigation, the Nile River, and money was used in building pyramids and
temples, as trade, government, religion, economics, and astronomy were developed.
Art
The ancient Egyptians were famous for the art of graves and murals, as they
believed that life continues after death, and they mastered in tombs so that

they used perishable and not strong materials such as clay and wood to reduce
the temperature. The peasants lived in simple houses.

individually enclosed halls with roof panels supported by columns. And
engineering developed in the era of the modern state, and the architects added
the edifice, open squares, and the lobby and adopted these designs until
entering and the rulers of the later ones did not abandon them in favor of the
less visible rock tombs.
The
mastaba-design of tombs was famous in the early periods of ancient Egypt, and
it was a rectangular building with a flat surface built of adobe or stone,
covering under it the burial chamber, which is located under the ground.
The step pyramid of Djoser, for example, is made of six stone mastabas on top of
each other.
The
pyramids are the common designs for the tombs of the two pharaohs in the Old
and Middle Kingdoms.
