The fuel gas shall be used as instrument gas
for the operation of all pneumatic equipment. The instrument gas system shall
be designed to supply dry gas at constant pressure. - The instrument gas shall be tapped from the gas
line, at three (2) places, one each at metering skid end,, and
one in the middle for gas-operated sectionalizing valves, - The instrument gas system shall comprise
of all the necessary components as required by Saudi Aramco standards including
pressure-regulating valves, along with all the necessary piping, valves,
instruments, fully automatic liquid drain system, etc. for safe and reliable
operation of the system.
- Each pneumatic equipment/device shall have a
local filter regulator with a pressure gauge. - The valves shall conform to the requirements
outlined in the specifications.
- The capacity of the system shall be calculated. However, the reservoir capacity as a minimum shall be
adequate for at least four (4) hours of operation.
- Safety relief valve shall be provided on
reservoir vessel. - The reservoir vessel shall be designed and
