Complex HVAC system

Refrigeration cycle of a complex

 HVAC system

The refrigeration cycle of a complex HVAC system, showing the key components involved in cooling and heat exchange.

The process begins with the compressor, which pressurizes the refrigerant gas and sends it to the condenser, where it releases heat and transforms into a liquid.

The liquid refrigerant passes through a filter/drier and a receiver, ensuring moisture and contaminants are removed.

It then reaches the expansion valve, where it undergoes a pressure drop, cooling down before entering the evaporator to absorb heat from the surrounding air.

The evaporated gas is then pulled back through the suction accumulator and oil separator before returning to the compressor to restart the cycle.

Additional components like the hot gas bypass valve and solenoid valves help regulate pressure and flow. This system is essential for air conditioning and refrigeration, ensuring efficiency and consistent cooling performance.
