2.1 -the puplication listed below form a part of this specfication. except as modfied by these specifications, all work shall conform to the requirments of thefollowin des and standards:
1-NFPA12 standard carbon Dioxxide Extinguishing Systems
2- NFPA70 National Electrical Code
3-NFPA72 National Fire Alarm Code
2-2 Applicable Publications:
1-factory mutual approval guide-equipment-matrials-services for conscervation of property with quarterly supplements.
2-underwriters laboratories, inc.ul publication-fire protection equipment directory with quaterly supplements
3-QUALIFICATIONS:
a-the contractor shall have successfuly installed fire suppression systems.detection,and alarm system,or the contractor shall have a contractual agreement with subcontractor having such required experience.
b-names of projects,location,and telphone number of person to contact shall be provideed for at least two installations wher the contractor
the contractores project manger shall have either of the following qualifications:
1- a registered professional engineer
2-certification in fire alarm systems or hazard systems
4-STANDRAD PRODUCTS:
matrial,and equipments shall be standrad products of thier respective manufacturing
5-NAMESPLATTES
all system equipments shall have the manufacctures name.adress.type.or style,and catalog number on a noncorrosive. non-heat sensitive plate securely attached to equipments
