Works on Saturday 10 February 2018 Jeddah - Suez

Jeddah was left after midnight and arrived at dawn to Cairo and headed directly to the project site in Suez to inspect the work and start receiving the ground floor and the first of the administrative building .. And follow the work of the other contractors in the project as requested by Mr. Amr Al-Quwatli and Dr. Mohammad Salah Mutbakani.

After arriving on Saturday to the site I toured the administrative building to take a look at some of the works during the last period in which I was absent from the development of the work and before the arrival of engineer Ibrahim Samir with the presence of his engineers in the site then attended the following:

And accompanied them on a tour of the administrative building and went to a meeting with Eng. Ibrahim and engineers, in the presence of Engineer   Drehem and also a preview of the work and show us the following:

Major defects and observations and shortcomings of the project:

1: Engineering Notes:

1.     No maps As Built Of the project according to engineering requirements

2.     Mismatch of dimensions with operational maps on nature.

3.     There were no inspection tables for the inspection rooms.

4.     Mismatched interfaces with design.

The facade does not match the design adopted in openings, aluminum, lighting, umbrella and construction

Works on Sunday 11 February 2018  Suez

The audit was conducted on the activities of Smart and in the presence of Eng. Drehem and the team of engineers of Smart and behind the engineer Ibrahim Samir for special reasons.

Most of the work carried out for the land role and the first was reviewed in light of the reality, with observations to vary the implementation of the operational maps provided and the lack of maps of what has already been implemented.

The above images are examples of defects and observations in the work of SMART in the ground floor and the first of the administrative building was revealed on Saturday and Sunday.

I have not been able to fully disclose the work of adaptation, health, electricity, etc .. from other works because of the lack of documents that were requested weeks before my departure from the gentlemen of the company Smart and business congestion for lack of time.

Works on Monday 12 February 2018  Suez

The following meetings were held with:

·        Fire Fighting Company:

By meeting Eng. Ibrahim of International Company, request the following:

·        Follow-up d. FRA to approve the documents submitted to him by the International Company for Security and Safety Systems for the adoption of documents from maps and catalogs of an element used in the project and all related to the implementation of the company mentioned

·        Gasoline work is similar

·        Tank fuel generator set up a tandem and conduct an experiment

·        Connect the administrative building to the fire network near the site

·        Analysis of water received from the device to ensure its validity for drinking.

·        It is possible to operate a small purification plant in each hangar to use drinking water if the water is not supplied by the device for that.

·        Drain the rain

·        The meeting was held with Mr. Yasser Essam regarding the drainage works of the rainwater and the solution for the treatment of water collection from the drainage of column pipes.

It was rained yesterday and was a good occasion to test modified drainage pipes that worked efficiently and did not need any new processors. And recommend a template for this amendment to paint and warehouse.

·       SMART Meeting :

Staff Building

·       In the presence of Eng. Ibrahim Sameer today, the workers' building was inspected and Smart's proposal to implement the building was discussed

·       Design modifications were made to the proposal submitted

·       SMART will submit these amendments to the plans for approval before implementation.

·       Not good treatment of the concrete was observed after casting

·       Request for the determination of fracture samples for the blade and columns.

Administrative building

·        With reference to the administrative building and accompanied by Eng. Samir Ibrahim and engineers, gave a quick look at the work of the building in the third and fourth floors to avoid the defects of existing work in anticipation of repeated mistakes in the first and ground floor

·        Cracks in the work of Elias

·        Poor insulation and poor drainage

·        Rust has been observed in the iron of the elevator in the metal structure, which requires treatment in a pre-directional manner to avoid impregnation of the project near the sea

Works on Wednesday 14 February 2018  Cairo - Jeddah

According to the decision, the meeting was held in the morning in the lobby lobby in Cairo with Mr. Ahmed Khalifa to consider the required payments to contractors, due to the absence of several months to follow up their payments and to report what is disbursed to them.

The review was conducted and a report was made to them in agreement with him.

After finishing, they sent me to the airport to leave for Jeddah.

·       No benefits should be paid to Smart on the administrative building other than the payment of 500 thousand pounds agreed upon in the attached statement with Mr. Ahmed Khalifa until the completion of the observations of the first and second roles and to ensure the right of the owner as the remaining amount barely covers the completion of work and repairs and defects.

·        Smart is required to set a new date for initial receipt of the first and fourth floor with all required documents. And set an appointment to finish the notes

·        Al-Mustafy Company has to re-test the operation with my presence and provide the necessary maps and documents

·       Al-Fath It is necessary to check the quantities and follow-up the reforms and reject the powder as an alternative to sand unless you provide written documents from the device and the Egyptian code.

·       The Electro Mechanical Contracting Company is required to provide maps and documents for all the works carried out by it.

·       I have to receive a daily report on the progress of the work on the site for daily follow-up to any errors during the implementation since it is not worth sending pictures only once or twice a month.
