  Cable Trays

 

-    All components, accessories, and supports shall be made of hot-dip- galvanized steel, bordering shall be edge protection. All cable trays shall be earthed with a copper conductor.

 

-     All cables shall be laid in only one layer & it should be supported with special ribbons.

 

-      Space factor doesn't exceed 50%  i.e. the C.S.A for cables does not exceed 50% from the cable tray section.

 

-   Distance between every two cables shall be not less than twice the diameter for the biggest one for cable 3.

 

-           The minimum load capacity shall be :-

            200mm - 150 kg/m              

            300mm - 175 kg/m              

            400mm - 200 kg/m

            500mm - 220 kg/m

            600mm - 240 kg/m

 

-           The regular supporting distance shall be 1500 mm .
